GALLERY 20 The Blockheads Darron Chadwick blends bright bold colors and a fanciful imagination in the creation of his whimsical "blockheads" these works have a streetwise feeling of the mid 1980's graffiti artists with strong influences from Roy Liechtenstein and Keith Haring, two of Darron's more favorite artists. Each work tells a story of a period in the artist life from moments of hardship, to times of delight; the blockheads create a unique portrait of the artist's thoughts and feelings. Darron's work was awarded the Best of Show (Professional Division) in the 1991 Indianapolis Art League "Student Exhibition".
